The Roofing Store -Architectural

We have three exciting designs for the architectural market – Standing Seam, Interlocking and Weatherboard.

Standing seam is a wide tray roofing system which can be roll formed on site if necessary.

It is a unique system which allows greater flexibility in design than any other metal cladding, making complex designs and shapes relatively easy to form.

Interlocking panels are simply connected by an interlocking groove, giving the elegant appearance of a recessed joint. They are ideal for use on new homes or existing buildings.

Our weatherboard is the ideal, low-maintenance alternative to timber weatherboard. Classic panelling combined with simplicity of installation makes it a very cost effective and attractive system for new or existing buildings.

STANDING STEAM

Standing Seam is a wide tray roofing system, roll-formed on site in single length trays if necessary.
It is fixed to solid substrates such as plywood or timber sarking. It is the ideal cladding for roof, facade, soffit and fascia areas.

Using traditional European techniques, it enhances the style of any structure.
Trays are seamed together using a variety of seam and cap methods, depending on functional and aesthetic requirements.
Standing seam offers much more flexibility than any other metal cladding. Shapes can vary from a standard parallel tray to a conical tray with straight or curved sheets. It is possible (when using appropriate material) to produce complex designs such as turrets and curved roofs, to customise the appearance of any building.

INTERLOCKING

nterlocking panels are simply connected by the use of an interlocking groove, giving the elegant
appearance of a recessed joint. They do not require plywood substrate; instead,
they are fixed onto supporting timber or metal frameworks using mechanical fixings, which are concealed in the joint. The system belongs to the rain-screen sector (wall cladding installed with a pressure equalised, ventilated air space). It requires a vapour barrier or waterproof membrane behind the supporting framework. Interlocking panels are ideal for use on new or existing buildings. They are installed as conventional weatherboard planks, resembling the look of Rusticated weatherboard wood panelling.

WEATHERBOARD

Weatherboard is the ideal, low-maintenance alternative to timber weatherboard.

With the aesthetic appeal of classic panelling and simplicity of installation, our metal weatherboard is a very cost effective and attractive system that gives a classic finish to any structure.
The system belongs to the rain-screen sector (wall cladding installed with a pressure
equalised, ventilated air space). It requires a vapour barrier or waterproof membrane behind the supporting framework.
Weatherboard step panels are ideal for use on new or existing buildings. They are installed as conventional weatherboard planks, resembling the look of Bevel Back weatherboard wood panelling.
